1. Who we are

True Level Media is an independent publisher of Connecticut trade directories, based at 1245 Silas Deane Highway, Suite 204, Wethersfield, CT 06109. For any question about this policy, email hello@truelevelmedia.com.

2. Information we collect

We collect two kinds of information, and only two:

• What you send us. If you use the contact form or email us, we receive your name, email address, any business name you provide, and the content of your message.
• Website analytics. Standard, aggregated usage data such as pages viewed, referring site, approximate region, browser, and device type.

We do not ask for payment details, because nothing is sold on this site. We do not require an account, because there is no account to create.

3. Contractor listings are not personal data you gave us

Directory listings are compiled from public sources, including public customer reviews and a contractor's own published website. That information is business information already in public view, and it is not collected from you through this website. If you are a listed contractor and want a listing corrected or removed, see corrections, disputes and removals.

4. How we use information

• To reply to your message and to act on corrections, disputes, and removal requests.
• To keep a record of correspondence about a listing, so both sides can refer back to it.
• To understand which pages are read, in aggregate, and improve them.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use messages sent through this site to build a marketing list. Nobody will be contacted to sell them anything.

5. Sharing

We share information only with:

• Service providers that operate this website, its form handling, and its analytics on our behalf.
• Professional advisers, where we need advice on a dispute.
• Authorities, where we are legally required to.

6. Cookies and analytics

This site uses cookies and similar technologies for analytics and basic site function. You can set your browser to refuse cookies or to warn you when one is set. Refusing them does not stop you reading anything here.

7. Retention

Correspondence about listings is kept for as long as it is useful to resolve or evidence a correction. General enquiries are kept no longer than necessary. Analytics data is aggregated.

8. Your rights

You can ask us to:

• Tell you what personal information we hold about you.
• Correct information that is wrong.
• Delete information, where we have no obligation to keep it.
• Remove a directory listing, which we honor without penalty.

9. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information sent to us. No transmission over the internet is completely secure, so please do not send sensitive documents through the contact form.

10. Children

This site is intended for adults making decisions about property and contracting work, and is not directed at children.

11. Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version is posted here with a new date at the top of the page.
