What we do
An independent trade directory, published rather than sold
True Level Media publishes ranked directories of Connecticut trade contractors. Each one covers a single trade, statewide, and orders contractors using public customer reviews under a published ranking method. Nothing in a ranked list is there because somebody paid for it.
We started this because the alternative is worse. Search a Connecticut town and a trade and you get aggregators ordering results by their own advertising relationships, template sites carrying a toll-free number and no address, and pages built for another state that happen to share a town name. None of them tell you whether a ranking was earned.
Connecticut hires trades by town, but trades do not work that way. A roofer in Simsbury covers the Farmington Valley without thinking about it, and a homeowner in Avon does not care where the truck started. So each directory covers the whole state and organizes results the way the trade is actually hired.

Every score is built from public customer reviews under a method anyone can read and check.
The ranking engine cannot see who has paid. Any paid surface is labeled and sits outside the ranked list.
Scores move as new public reviews arrive and older ones age. Closed businesses come off at the re-check.
Nothing is sold to contractors. There is no account to create and nothing to claim.
