1. Agreement

By using True Level Media and the directories it publishes, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.

2. What we publish

True Level Media is an independent publisher. We publish editorial directories of Connecticut trade contractors, currently covering:

• Connecticut Flooring Guide
• Connecticut Kitchen & Bath Guide
• Connecticut Landscaping & Hardscape Guide
• Connecticut Masonry & Chimney Guide
• Connecticut Painting Contractors Guide
• Connecticut Roofing Guide
• Connecticut Tree Service Guide
• Connecticut Window & Door Guide

We do not perform, broker, guarantee, or insure contracting work of any kind, and we are not a party to any agreement between a homeowner and a contractor.

3. Listings are compiled from public sources

Listings are compiled from public sources, including public customer reviews and contractors' own published websites. Information taken from a contractor's own site is a self-description and is marked as not independently verified. Listings are provided without warranty of accuracy, completeness, or currency, and are re-checked monthly.

4. Rankings are editorial opinion

A ranking on any of our directories is editorial opinion, formed by applying the published method described on how we rank contractors to public customer review data. A ranking is not a certification, a recommendation of fitness for your particular job, a statement about licensing or insurance status, or a guarantee of any outcome.

Rankings are not for sale. Where paid surfaces are ever introduced, they will be labeled and will sit outside the ranked list, as set out in our editorial standards.

5. Do your own checks

Before engaging any contractor, verify their registration and any required licensing at the state source, confirm insurance directly, and read the review evidence yourself. Our homeowner guides explain how. You are responsible for your own hiring decisions.

6. Corrections and removals

Listed contractors may request corrections or removal free of charge, as described on corrections, disputes and removals. We aim to act within five business days, faster for legal and regulatory matters. Removals are honored and a removed contractor is not penalized.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, True Level Media is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from work performed by a contractor found through a directory, from reliance on a ranking, or from any inaccuracy in a listing.

8. Third-party sites

Our directories link to contractors' websites, to public review platforms, and to government sources such as portal.ct.gov and epa.gov. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or availability.

9. Intellectual property

The text, layout, design, and editorial method published on this site are the property of True Level Media. Business names and marks belonging to listed contractors remain their own.

10. Acceptable use

Do not scrape, republish at scale, or resell our directory data, and do not attempt to manipulate a ranking through fabricated reviews or automated submissions.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. The current version is always posted here with the date at the top of the page.
